The staff at the reception was very helpful and friendly.

No lift! We had to carry our luggage up four floors. The breakfast room is very small. There is not enough tables to accommodate the guests staying at the hotel. People had to line up waiting for the next available table. Further, the waiter in the breakfast room was very unfriendly. The "free WiFi" never worked from my room.

The hotel couldn't be more conveniently located - 5 mins. to SMN trains and buses, 5mins. to the Duomo. The room was adequate for two with a strong, quiet air-conditioner (very important for F. in summer!)

The breakfast offerings could be a little more varied, with some fruit, please.

Location of the hotel was good; near the railway station and city attractions.

Lack of any lift was very terrible to us. Our room was in 3rd floor and the luggages were very heavy. We hardly displaced them. We had difficulties in bathroom as well.

The woman doesn't speak good English and the internet didn't actually work for the two nights we were staying. They claimed that it was because of the weather but as far as I could tell, the weather was nice maybe that was their own problem.

It is situated within historical city and very close to the main touristic objectives in Florence. It is very clean, and the personnel is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very good for this price and makes the deal a smart choice.

There is no elevator and the stairs are a bit steep, so if you don't travel light, prepare for some luggage work out. But hey, if you wanted Marriott you would be looking there already, wouldn't you?

Location is excellent, just 5 minutes walking from train station and close to almost everything. Room was clean and comfortable with enough space for one person. Wi fi was not supposed to work beyond the lobby area but because I was on the 1st floor it worked ok in the room, I liked that.

Breakfast was too simple and everyday the same. The room was a bit noisy because it's on a centrally located and very busy street, but it was not so much of an inconvenient for me.

The room and washroom are very clean even it's a very old building. The internet access is quite fast too.

We stayed on the fifth floor... No lower floor available. It's really affecting our trip in florence when we have to carry the 2 big luggages all the way up to fifth flr.

air-condition not working, the staff call technician but who will arrive tomorrow morning, so ridiculous! no fan, no change of room (because of full), how come! staff is poor in English, can't communicate! so angry!!

The room alongside of the street is too noisy and too old. There is no hot water service for customers.

I've spent three nights in a one bedroom apartmant. For a very good price. The location is perfect. I can recommend it to anyone who is travelling alone, and looks for a low budget trip in Florance.

Proximity to all interesting sights and restaurants, as well as shops etc.The staff were accomodating enough and the cleanlisness of the room was very good.The breakfast room staff were very efficient and attentive and there was a good choice of food.

Our biggest and only complaint is, that we didd reserve the room 4 weeks in advance of our trip and did say we would be travelling with a small dog(cocker spaniel). We expected therefore to have a suitable room to accomodate a dog comfortably. Instead we got a room, very small, very hot onthe 4th floor, with no lift facilities and the air conditioning not working properly! Too noisy and inefficient, when it was on, and impossible to stand the heat of the room without it on. So we did have 5 very uncomfortable nigths. Fortunatelly we did not take the dog with as, because some friends had offered to dogsit for us. We did complain to the hotel management, but they did not have a free room for us to change. An enginner was sent to look at the aircon, but it still did not solve the noise problem. That was the only thing, that somewhat clouded an otherwise superb stay in Florence!
